BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Edward R. Reichert brings a rare, dual-perspective approach to medical malpractice law—combining decades of hands-on clinical experience with legal advocacy for patients harmed by medical negligence.
Before becoming an attorney, Eddie built his career in healthcare, practicing physical therapy since 1999 and working in sports medicine since 1992. Over the course of his clinical career, he has treated thousands of patients across a wide range of settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes. His experience spans complex neuromuscular conditions, traumatic brain injuries, total joint replacements, orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
This background gives Eddie something most medical malpractice attorneys simply don’t have: a deep, working knowledge of how medicine is actually practiced. He understands the standard of care not just from textbooks or expert reports—but from years inside the system, treating patients and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and care teams.
Today, Eddie focuses his legal practice on representing individuals and families affected by serious medical errors. He is particularly skilled at identifying breakdowns in patient care, recognizing when outcomes deviate from accepted medical standards, and translating complex medical issues into clear, compelling cases.
Clients trust Eddie because he speaks their language. He understands the frustration of being dismissed, the confusion around medical records, and the lasting impact of poor care. His approach is thoughtful, thorough, and grounded in both clinical insight and legal strategy.
At Gilitko & Daly, Eddie plays a key role in building and pursuing high-value medical malpractice cases—where clear liability and significant harm demand experienced, detail-oriented representation.
