BIOGRAPHY 

Dr. Spencer F. Goodson, MD, JD, is a highly accomplished lawyer with a diverse background in both medicine and law. He grew up in Evansville and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa honors from the Indiana University Medical School in 1980. He then completed his general surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin—Madison and his research fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Illinois—Chicago. He practiced vascular surgery at St. Vincent and Methodist in Indianapolis until 2000, when a skiing accident forced him to retire from surgery. He then pursued a career in law – graduating from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington in 2005, and has been practicing medical malpractice law since.
